The Lithuanian Catholic Federation “Ateitis” was founded in 1911 as movement of catholic students.

After regaining independence in 1918, during the period between the two World Wars, the organization grew to become a strong social and cultural force, which made a significant impact in the society of that period.

Famous Lithuanian writers, philosophers, historians, politicians were members of the organization working for the good of our country, putting down a strong Catholic foundation in order to foster a renewal of the nation based on values and the truth of the Gospel.
